Genesis Amari Ramos-Rivera, 1, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away peacefully amongst her loving family and friends at UVA, on Friday, August 4, 2017, at University of Virginia Hospital.
Genesis was born in 2016, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of her devoted mother, Isis Y. Ramos-Rivera.
Her mother’s little angel, Genesis, is survived by her six aunts, Andrea Ramos, Dayana Ramirez, Jessica Lazaro, Norma Rivera, Yeny Ramos, and Rosa Diaz; eight uncles, Josue Ramos, Kevin Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez, Edwin Ramos, Adolfo Melendez, Fer Lazaro, Daniel Flores, and Rafael Flores; grandparents, Alejandro Ramirez, Lurvin Ramos, Linda Rivera, and Reynaldo Rivera; great-grandparents, Lucilla Rivera and Reymundo Ramos; and last but not least of all, Genesis is survived by her loving UVA family, to whom her family is so grateful, who dedicated so much time and love to their sweet patient.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. at Mision Cristiana Cuidad Deseada Inc., Berryville, Virginia. The service will be followed by an all-night vigil. Family and friends will process from the church at 8:00 a.m., on Friday morning, to Shenandoah Memorial Park Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.
