Gary Leroy Hart

Gary Leroy Hart, 77, of Winchester, Virginia, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Hart was born in 1933, in Lansford, North Dakota, the son of the late John and Etta Hart. He was a Passenger Service Agent with Carey Transportation, LaGuardia Airport, New York for 27 years and then employed by St. Mary’s Hospital in Michigan as a Sanitation Engineer. Mr. Hart was a Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Mr. Hart was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester.

His first wife, Bella Gerber Hart, whom he married on September 1, 1956, preceded him in death in January 29, 1990.

His second wife, Adeline Valchine Hart, whom he married on December 10, 1994, preceded him in death in December 11, 2005.

Surviving is his daughter, Brenda Adair and her husband, John; son, Mitchel Hart and his wife, Margaret, all of Winchester, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Dennis, Brian, Melissa, Mitchel, Amanda, Andrew and Joshua; and his brother, Wesley Hart of North Dakota. One sister, Grace Fields and one brother, Buster Hart, preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday with Father Stanley J. Krempa officiating. Interment will be private.
