Gary L. Fisher, 71 of Stephens City, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray, VA.

Gary was born April 21, 1954 in Chambersburg, PA, the son of Marlene Fisher and the late Raymond Fisher. He was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, Class of 1972 and later in life earned his associate degree from Lord Fairfax Community College. He worked as an accountant for over 30 years for Abex Corporation /Federal Mogul and retired on April 19, 2019, from Trex. Gary was a member of First United Methodist Church in Winchester where he was also the choir director for many years. Gary had a love of music and over the course of his life performed in many groups including “The Continentals”, “Joyful Noise”, and “The Consonants”. While he often participated, Gary also enjoyed watching musical theater and often attended shows at Shenandoah University. Gary was a member of the Chambersburg Masonic Lodge.

Gary is survived by his mother, Marlene; his sons, Nicholas Fisher (Shannon), Erik Fisher (Andrea); grandchildren, Lane, Claire, Laikyn and Grayson; brother, Lynn Fisher (Lynette) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A visitation will be held for Gary on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 12pm with a service to be conducted at 1pm held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Sean Devolites.
