Glenn H. Vansickle, 74, of Bunker Hill, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center. Glenn H. Vansickle, 74, of Bunker Hill, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center.
Glenn was born in 1949 in Keyser, WV, the son of the late Glenn and Geraldine Vansickle. He served our country in the United States Army with the rank of SP4 and was stationed in Korea. During his working years he was a truck driver for Simbeck Trucking, a job he really enjoyed. He was a member of Calvary Covenant Brethren Church where he loved spending time with his church family.
Glenn also enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and watching his favorite team the Baltimore Ravens.
He is survived by his sons, Tracy Vansickle (Brenda), Randy Vansickle, John Vansickle; daughter, Raven Skimmerhorn; many grandchildren; sisters, Terri Ways (the late Mike), Jeannie Wood (the late Allen Jenkins) and brother, Charles Vansickle (Vicki).
A visitation will be held for Glenn on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 11am to 1pm with a service starting at 1pm, all held at Calvary Covenant Brethren Church. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park. A time of food and fellowship will follow the interment at the church fellowship hall.
