A bit late to write this but it took me some time to find his obituary. I met Fred and family in 2008 when they were moving back to Virginia. I started out as the fence builder at their farm in berryville, Va. What seemed like just a large fence project turn out for to be one of my fondest work memories and mostly because of Fred. His stories and wise old man advice he would tell me has really stuck with me over the years. I think about him often and fondly. I am really grateful to have worked for and known him. Thank you Fred!!!!

To Bernice and all the children, children in law and grandchildren, I extend my sincerest condolences. I had the pleasure of knowing Fred and consulting to him for 40 years. As said in his obituary, he sought and achieved greatness and success in life and in business. he showed others the importance of always striving for the best and helped many people become successful in their profession. While he was the leader of teams, he recognized that one person couldn't do it alone, and he always sought out the best at their positions to be on his team. Fred, I will miss you.
