Fred C. White, 80, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. White was born in 1936 in Myerstown, West Virginia, the son of the late Beatrice L. and Lawrence White, Sr. He graduated from Clarke County High School and retired from Henkel-Harris after 40 years of service. Fred was a member of the Winchester Eagles Lodge and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are daughters, Katie Salyers (Dustin) of Stephens City, VA, Holly Dodd (Marshall) of Greensboro, NC, and Lisa Gastrell (Charles) of Fairfax Station, VA; sons, Kevin White and Brandon White, both of Stephens City, VA; eight grandchildren, Dameon, Kaylee, Cayden, and Alaina White, Landon and Paeton Salyers, Philip and Austin Gastrell; sister, Robin Whetzel of Berryville, VA; and brother, Lawrence White, Jr. of Berryville, VA, Clyde Holland of Sedona, AZ; sister in laws, Peggy White and Nannie White.
Fred was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry White and Donald Ray White; a sister, Beulah W. Jackson.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA 22602.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home with Reverend Paul Campbell officiating. Interment will be private.
