Franklin Lee “Frank” Myers, age 83, of Winchester, Virginia passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Frank was born in 1937, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, the son of the late Bertha Agnes and Americus Joseph Qualini. Frank was a graduate of Martinsburg High School and attended Grace College and Shepherd College. He worked as a bookbinder for Holiday-Tyler Printing Company in Bowie, Maryland, retiring in 1992. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he received a medical discharge. He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church. He was a true Mr. Fix-It and handyman, was an avid gardener, loved to fish, and travel with his wife and family in their motorhome. Frank mainly just enjoyed spending time together with family.
Frank married Rebecca Kitchen on November 5, 1960 in Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Along with his wife, Frank is survived by two daughters, Laura A. James (Brian W.) of The Plains, Virginia and Melanie K. Nelson (Kenneth Posey) of Winchester, Virginia; five grandchildren, Kevin Myers, Katherine Raffa, Brian F. James, Crystal Nelson, and Misty Nelson; and two great grandchildren, Wednesday Myers-Ellis and Kaziah Washington.
Preceding him in death was a son, Franklin Lee Myers, Jr. and a grandson, Steven James Chestnut.
All services are private. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Winchester, Virginia.
