Fanny T. Adams

Fanny Taylor Baldwin Adams, 86, of Winchester, Virginia died Sunday, February 20, 2011 in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Adams was born in 1924 in Mount Kisco, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph C. Baldwin and Marthe Verne. Mrs. Adams was a graduate of Miss Porters School for Girls. She was a homemaker and Volunteered at Winchester Medical Center. She attended Christ Episcopal Church in Winchester.

She married Robert Adams on February 7, 1997.

Surviving with her husband are her children, Sandra Ripple and her husband, John, Fiona Wilson and , Thomas Ian Wilson all of Connecticut; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and two brothers, Steven Baldwin and Joseph Baldwin. One sister preceded her in death.

A Memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday at Christ Episcopal Church with Reverend Webster S. Gibson officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Winchester Medical Center.

Bob, If we hadn't taken your seat in Church 5 and a half years ago, we may never have met you and Fanny and how sad that would have been. We have been blessed to have you as friends. You and Fanny welcomed us into the community, in particular the Christ Church community and we are so grateful for your friendship. We shared numerous meals and fun together - several in particular that stick in my mind are our Christmas time dinner at the Bavarian Inn, St. Patty's Day at the Irish restaurant in Middletown. Fanny's Black Velvet party, your anniversary dinners that we shared and our last visit with all 4 of us at your house the weekend of your anniversary.
