Evelyn P. DeHaven
Evelyn Pauline Dailey DeHaven, 89, of Frederick County, Virginia died Monday, March 5, 2012 in a local nursing facility.
Mrs. DeHaven was born in 1923, in Berkley Springs, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Dora Dailey. She was a retired supervisor at Winchester Hosiery Mill and a member of Mountain View Church.
Her husband, Howard G. DeHaven, whom she married on November 4, 1944, in Hancock, Maryland, preceded her in death in 2002.
Surviving are three daughters, Jeanne McKee, Linda Feltner and husband, Douglas, Carol McFarland; two sons, Larry DeHaven and wife, Vicki, and Randy DeHaven and wife, Robin, all of Winchester; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and sister, Lorriane Dailey of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
Two grandchildren, Richard Feltner, Troy DeHaven, a sister, Dora Dailey; three brothers, Herbert, Oscar and Dayton Dailey and her son-in-law, Roland McKee, preceded her in death.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, on Friday, in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, with Pastor Phillip Roby officiating.
The family will receive friends at Omps Funeral Home Amherst Chapel on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
