Eva Bell Strawderman Glushko
Eva Bell Glushko, 95, of Stephens City, Virginia, passed away, Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in Berryville, Virginia.
Mrs. Glushko was born in 1915 in Mathias, West Virginia, the daughter of the late James Branson and Susan Virginia Strawderman. She was a member of Mathias Church of the Brethren.
Her husband, Frederick Glushko, whom she married on February 7, 1947 in Forestville, Maryland, preceded her in death on May 20, 2001.
Surviving is a daughter, Eva Linda Hindt of Stephens City, Virginia; a son, Frederick T. Glushko of Waldorf, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Kimberleigh Murray, Michael Glushko, Rebbeca Herbrandt, Jeanine Hindt, Charles Hindt, Jr., James Branson Glushko, and Paul Nolan Glushko; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. A son, James Feddon; three sisters, Gladys Shanholtz, Virginia Landes, and Lola Frye; and five brothers, Ellis Mathis, Marvin, Oather, Everett, and Glenn Strawderman, all preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel with Reverend Jackie Battles officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Charles F. Hindt, Sr., Michael Glushko, Paul Nolan Glushko, Rocky Herbrandt, and Charles Hindt, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
