Eugene B. Renner, Sr.

Eugene Bryan Renner, Sr., 75, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Sunday, November 27, 2011, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Renner was born in 1936, in Frederick County, the son of the late J. Henry and Ann Renner. He was the owner and operator of Renner’s Auto Sales in Winchester. Mr. Renner was a member of Kernstown United Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He married Edna Orndorff on February 24, 1957, in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with his wife are three sons, Gary L. Renner and wife, Patti, Eugene B. Renner, Jr. and wife, Angela, all of Clear Brook, Virginia, Bryan L. Renner and companion, Lisa, of Martinsburg, West Virginia; grandchildren, Jennifer Kinkead, Kelli Renner, Sarah Renner, Daniel Renner, Lucas Thorn, Marcus Thorn, Mikayla Thorn, Bryan Cody Renner, Austin Renner and Chase Daniel; great grandchildren, Lucas and Tyson Kinkead, Olivia Moxley and Camden Coffman; sisters, Mary Richards of Stephens City, Virginia, Carolyn Eshbaugh of Brunswick, Maryland and faithful companion, Bear.

One brother, Robert Renner, preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Omps Funeral home, Amherst Chapel with Reverend Clay Knick officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Clark County, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Cody Renner, Austin Renner, Daniel Renner, Matt Kinkead, Chris Moxley, and Caleb Coffman.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcus Thorn and Lucas Thorn.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kernstown United Methodist Church, 3239 Valley Pike, Winchester, Virginia, 22602.
