Ethel M. Nosko

Ethel Marie Holkovic Nosko, 87, of Winchester, Virginia, died Friday, November 19, 2010, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Nosko was born in 1923, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John and Katherine Holkovic. She was a home care aide and a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Winchester, Virginia.

Her husband, Vincent W. Nosko, Jr., whom she married on March 4, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, preceded her in death in 1980.

Surviving is her daughter, Elyse Pritchett and her husband, Ralph, of Winchester, Virginia; son, Louis G. Nosko of Toronto, Canada; six grandchildren, Katya Nosko and husband, Peter Mitchell, Heather Snapp and husband, Chris, Erin Howard and husband, Danny, Vincent Nosko, Victor Nosko and Joseph Nosko; six great grandchildren, Caleb Mitchell, Atticus Mitchell, Fox Mitchell, Leah Snapp, Barrett Snapp and Jaxson Howard. Two brothers, Steve Holkovic and Emil Holkovic preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 AM on Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Michael Dobbins officiating. Interment will private.
