Ms. Palmer ( as my family has ever known her as ) was without a doubt the most beautiful, classy, Christian, country lady we have ever known.
She has lived life on her terms, 103 years, independent, and maintained a relatively healthy life style, and oh yes, that great since of humor!
She was a fixture in the Hayfield area.
We all have had the greatest admiration of you through the years.
Our most sincere condolences to the entire family of "Ms. Palmer".

She was a very good cook and oh yes , her chocolate cake was delicious. I remember her canning 1000 fruits and vegetables every year. I will greatly miss talking to her on the phone. Dear Sweet Ms. Lizzie. She has been our neighbor for as long as I can remember. My mom will miss talking to her on the phone every week, and I will miss looking to see if she is sitting on her porch sleeping. I always made her pumpkin bread over the holidays and she looked forward to that. Since I was a little girl, I can always remember her laugh, her sense of humor, and her zest for life. She has been there my entire life and I just can't imagine her being gone. She made Hayfield a happier place, and a much prettier place with the steeple she provided for the Mt. Olive church. Much sympathy to the family. We have lost a gem.
