I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Libby. I used to work at the Retreat when I was in high school. Libby hired me not knowing she would have to teach me everything. I remember someone ordered a BLT. I had no idea what a BLT was. She would laugh and patiently show me how to make a BLT. I had great love for Libby and Polly who helped me through my waitress days at the Retreat. One time a gentleman kept teasing me. To my horror when I went to serve him water, all the ice came pouring out all over him. Libby and Polly laughed and laughed and said he deserved it. I always think about Libby and Polly whenever I am in a restaurant. Those were such good days and I sorry Libby and I never reconnected. Hugs and love to you Donna. Libby will always live on in my memories.

Libby, thank you for helping to raise me by being an integral part of my childhood and showing me the what a strong woman can accomplish. You were the epitome. You helped my parents teach me about hard work and good work ethics. You were part of that. Godspeed, Libby, Donna and I will take care of each other. Rest easy. XOXO

We love you grandma! Thanks for being a guiding star in the dark times and a ray of light during the good times. We will miss you but hope you are making grandpa, Uncle David, Uncle Terry, and Uncle Allen some good ol' fried chicken up in heaven.

Remember when I would visit her and Uncle Calvin. They would take me to visit Grandma Cooper and the family would have a fire and cook hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire. We all had a great time. My condolences to the remaining family. May she test in peace. Glad she was able to remain at home and not in a facility.
