I'm saddened to learn of Libba's death. My husband and I moved to Waynesboro, GA as newlyweds in 1953. Libba's parents, "Mr. John and Miss Novine" took us under their wings and made us feel welcome in our new home. We enjoyed seeing Libba and John, Jr., growing up and followed them closely all through their local school and college years. With the death of her parents, and our relocation to another city, we lost contact but never forgot Libba and the fine family she was a part of.

I am so sad and surprised to hear of Liz's passing. A lady in the true sense. We shared dinners and stories of our families after their dad's passing. I loved her photography and her gentle spirit. The world has lost a sweet, shining light. My love and best wishes tothe three of you. Kathleen Bowman Killian

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Browning's passing. When selling her house on Jefferson St a few years ago, I purchased an antique dressing table from her for my daughter, as well as a pair of window dressings. My daughter has cherished that dressing table ever since. She will be sad to know that Mrs. Browning has passed away. My thoughts and prayers for the family.

I was so saddened to hear of Libba's passing. I was a close friend of her sister-in-law, Liz Browning, and felt that I knew her well through her visits with Liz in Richmond and particularly our conversations after Liz's death. She was a kind and beautiful lady. My last memory of her was our lunch at this year's Virginia Festival of the Book. My thoughts and prayers go out to her children and their families.
