Elizabeth Cecilia Faircloth, 81 of Stephenson, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 quietly at home.

Liz was born in 1942 in Carlisle, PA, the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Barrick. She was a graduate of Carlisle High School. Liz retired in 2004 from Leer Manufacturing in Strasburg, VA. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the UAW. Liz enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and most of all, spending time with her family.

She married James Faircloth on October 20, 1970 in Martinsburg, WV. He preceded her in death in 2009.

Liz is survived by her daughters, Tracey Faircloth (Larry), Mary Riley (Keith), Kathy Martin (Wayne); grandchildren, Brandon Faircloth (Fiancé Chantel), Chris Wenk (Stacey), James Bowen (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob and Katie; great great-grandchildren, Brianna, Lilly Bug and Addy.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and son, Ralph Martin.

A visitation will be held for Liz on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 11am with a service to follow at 12:30pm, all held at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplain Ken Patrick. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
