Elizabeth Ann Barton (Morrison), 59, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 28, 1967, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Delbert Morrison and Evelyn Morrison (Dodson). She earned her GED and went on to dedicate 18 years of service as a patient access specialist with Valley Health before her retirement.

Elizabeth married her beloved husband, Timothy “Tim” W. Barton, on October 7, 2006, in Winchester, VA. She cherished spending quality time with Tim, especially attending car shows together. She also enjoyed playing bingo and trying her luck with lottery scratch-offs. The youngest of nine children, Elizabeth shared a special, lifelong bond with her brothers and sisters, who were truly her best friends.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Barton; her daughter, Amanda Morrison; her son, Adam Anderson, and his fiancé, Maricel; six cherished grandchildren, Zackary (Madison), Noah (Nicole), Abigail, Daphne, Logan, and Kristiana “Lexi”; four great-grandchildren, Kyrina, Landen, Jaxson, and Coraline; three sisters, Betty, Mary, and Bonnie; and three brothers, Farren, Dennis, and Johnny.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers, Leroy Morrison, and Fred Morrison.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 6pm to 8pm with a service the following day, Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11am all held at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Officiating will be Minister Doug Hardman.
