Elizabeth A. Black
Elizabeth Aileen Black, 76, of Bentonville, Virginia, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.
Mrs. Black was born in 1937, in Northville, Michigan, the daughter of the late Raymond and Aileen Garrod. She was a rug hooking artist and fiber arts teacher. Mrs. Black was a member of the Association of Traditional Rug Hooking Artist (ATHA).
Her husband of 32 years, Gilbert Roy Black, preceded her in death on November 15, 1999.
Surviving is a daughter, Lisa Corby and husband, Jim, of Bentonville, Virginia; granddaughter, Alison Corby of Bentonville, Virginia; and sister, Jean Garrod-Taylor of Winter Haven, California.
All services with, Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, will be private.
