Hilda Elise Buckner Snapp, 68, of Winchester, Virginia died Monday, April 12, 2010, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Snapp was born in 1941, in Clarke County, Virginia the daughter of the late Robert O. and Hilda Buckner. She was a Switchboard Operator and Medical Receptionist with Winchester Pulmonary and Internal Medicine in Winchester. She was a member of Kernstown United Methodist Church and a member of Women of the Moose #1283

Her husband, Thomas Alan Snapp, Sr., preceded her in death in 1986.

Surviving are her sons, Thomas Alan Snapp, Jr., and wife, Donna, of Winchester, Virginia, Stephen Michael Snapp of Winchester, Virginia; two grandchildren, Whitney Snapp and Gary Gardner.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, on Thursday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Reverend Clay Knick officiating. Interment will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Anderson, Dodd Kline, Dennis Allen, Kenny Allen, Jeff Mongold, and Wayne Godlove.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
