Shannon Bedard left a message on November 14, 2019:
So many of my happiest childhood memories include my dearest Aunt Ellie. She made the darkest times of mine and my mother’s life shine with light. We used to spend hours in the garage being the queen and princess of England, grocery shopping, tea parties, and performing “American Pie” by Don McLean (for the 100th time) simply because I loved to hear her sing. As I grew older we spent time crafting and making floral designs I always loved how creative she was, quite an inspiration. I’m so sorry for the suffering endured on earth but she is in heaven now; painless, smiling down on her family that she loved more than anything in this world. Rest In Peace.
GJoseph Peck left a message on November 11, 2019:
I am saddened to learn of Ellie's passing. She wrote so well, was a past President of the Heritage Writers Group in McDonough, GA. Her writings touch so many hearts with their sincerity and candor. She left good footprints that many can only hope to follow in. She is already sorely missed. We know, though, that God has a special place for her in heaven! God bless
