Mom, What can I say? You were my best friend. We talked about every subject under the sun while I was growing up. I could always tell you everything! If I had any questions about anything, you were the first one I called. If you didn’t have the answer, you could always point me in the right direction. Thank you for taking me skating practically EVERY Friday and Saturday night (and sometimes Sunday afternoons too). Thank you for getting part time jobs when I was a teenager, just to bring in extra money, so I could enjoy some of the “WANTS” being a teenager demandedof the day!! Thank you for coming out in the middle of the night and picking me up a few times when I knew I didn’t want to ride with the person who took me to the “PARTY”!!! And Thank You for teaching me that “Where there’s a WILL, there’s a WAY”!! Because if you, and Dad, I’m more mechanically inclined than my husband!! At least I can hammer a nail STRAIGHT, and can see the end result of working out a project. I hope you both are happy together now, and are playing poker with Aunt Ludell, and dancing!! Kiss Dad, Larry, Lu and Donut for me. I will Love you ALL forever!!!!

Elaine will always be in my heart and I will remember her with love. She was a free spirited, stylish lady and always found something to smile about, spoke highly of her children, grandchildren and daughter-in-law. Her ability to share memories of the past was always a comfort and she created new memories to catalog on her life journey on a daily basis, until she became ill. She is no longer suffering and may she rest in peace. Sending love, prayers and thoughts to Elaine's family.
