Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Always remember the many trials of this world only lead to greater rewards over the next horizon. In life we take many steps on a journey to a destination which through faith we know lies just ahead. My best to you.

Craig & Marcia Strehlow left a message on June 28, 2014:
Bill, we are thinking of you and Elaine today. We will always remember Elaine's gracious help and encouragement as we began building our house on Nantucket next to your original cottage. Her warning about the poison ivy came just in time as we were too enthusiastic to begin planting daffodil bulbs on our patch of vacant lot to notice! We recall our gardening discussions with Elaine whenever our paths crossed on island, often as she was walking with her dogs to or from the beach, and we benefited from her years of gardening passion! We will fondly remember Elaine each year going forward as we enjoy the spring daffodils and summer hydrangeas she recommended. As fellow Nantucket lovers, we understood her enjoyment of the island and her desire to spend happy days on her Surfside porch listening to the wind and waves surrounded by family and friends.
