Eilene A. Schaffer Boswell Freels

Eilene Adele Shaffer Freels, 74, of Winchester, VA, died Friday, September 14, 2012 in the Winchester Medical Center.

She was born in 1938 in Fort Hamilton, New York, the daughter of the late John and Adele Shaffer. She was employed by the Federal Government, until her retirement in 1995.

Mrs. Freels was married to Herbert Freels and prior to that Allen Boswell, whom both preceded her in death.

Surviving is a brother, William Hugh Shaffer of Colorado Springs, CO; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara C. Haberly.

All services will be private.
