Eileen Faye Marzolf, 89, of Winchester, VA, died on January 20, 2026. Eileen was born to Ralph L. and Hazel C. Bradley in Salem, OH, in 1936.
She leaves behind her sons, Erich (Catherine) Marzolf, and Carl (Julie Aquavia) Marzolf and grandchildren Nicholas (Emma), Aliah, Quinn, Avery, Kiefer, and sister-in-law, Paula Bradley. Her husband G. Richard Marzolf, parents, older sister, Marilyn Bradley, and younger brother, William (Paula) Bradley passed away before her.
Eileen was raised in North Georgetown, OH, and graduated from Goshen Union High School (West Branch, Beloit, OH) in 1954, and Wittenberg College (Springfield, OH) in 1958. At Wittenberg she met Richard Marzolf, and they were married in 1958 in North Georgetown, OH.
Eileen worked in education as a primary school teacher and librarian while also creating a warm and inviting home which she and her husband shared with visiting scholars from around the world.
Those guests enjoyed her cooking and baking talents that were familiar to her family. She enjoyed traveling around the US and the world with her husband and as an art history enthusiast. She was an avid baseball fan, first of Cleveland and then of Kansas City, insisting on the purchase of their first color TV in 1985 to watch the World Series between Kansas City and St. Louis. She enjoyed classical music while reading the Washington Post.
