Edward L. Champ, Jr., 51 of Martinsburg, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Edward was born in 1969, in North Carolina, the son of the late Edward Champ, Sr. and Lottie M. Champ. He attended Roper Union High School in North Carolina. Edward was the owner/operator of Champs Paving company. He loved to take walks, watching westerns, playing on his cell phone and social media.
Edward married Angie Stanley on February 29, 2020 in Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving are daughters, Patty Lee Edwards (David), of Alabama, Courtney Shay Champ (Mike), Safari Lovie Champ both of North Carolina and Janette Cooper (Dick), of West Virginia; sons, Danny Stanley Champ (Brandy), of North Carolina and Morris Small (Amanda), of West Virginia; 30 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; sisters, Marzella Beacham (Jeff), Minnie Michelli (Steve), Samantha Keel (Timothy), Leslie Furlough (Kevin), all of North Carolina and Patty Congleton (Kenneth) of Virginia.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Champ.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens, Kearneysville, West Virginia.
