Emili Jo Steverson left a message on March 5, 2026:
I give my deepest Condolences to his family. I want to say that he will be greatly missed, he was best friends with my Grandfather Richard "Dick" BeDell. They worked together at FEMA, and played lots of golf together. When my grandfather was not able to drive due to a disease that caused his vision to get worse rapidly. Ed would come over to my Grandpa's house and take him places like Golfing and let my Grandpa cheat playing golf and get away with it. Grandpa would tell Ed to look somewhere and he would move or throw his golf ball to get closer to hole. I enjoyed listening to their stories from the past. My Grandma and his wife were friends also. Ed was such an amazing man. My family and Grandpa will forever be grateful for the selfless acts he showed to my Grandpa. My Grandpa loved him like a brother. Praying for you all. God Bless. Sincerely, Emili Jo Steverson
