Edward “Ed” Voight
Edward “Ed” Franklin Voight, 56, of Frederick, Virginia, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in his home.
Mr. Voight was born in 1954, in Fredericksburg, Virginia, the son of Lokie L. and Grace Voight of Winchester, Virginia. He was the Owner and Operator of A-440 Tuning and Repair in Winchester. Mr. Voight was a member of the Winchester Hiram Masonic Lodge #21, AF&AM, Past Master Councilor and Chapter Dad of Order of DeMolay and held the degree of Chevalier. He was a graduate of James Wood High School Class of 1972, and attended Shenandoah Conservatory of Music.
Surviving with his parents are his brothers, Thomas L. Voight and his wife, Mary of Vancouver, Washington, Richard L. Voight and his wife Lyne, of Winchester, Virginia and three nieces and four nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at St. Paul’s on the Hill Episcopal Church with a Masonic Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 PM and an Episcopal Memorial Service following, with Reverend Dr. Hillary Smith officiating. Interment will be private.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church or any time at his parent’s home, 253 Fox Drive Winchester, Virginia.
