Ron Payne left a message on March 4, 2010:
Brother Ed came into my life several years ago, and quickly became a man I could count on at Friday night services. I will always remember his love for life and his love for music. Often he would step out into a mild dance while I was playing the piano at Autumn Acres. I loved him and told him at each visit those exact words and in return he shared his love for me and the ministry. He was indeed a great friend and I will miss him and our visits each week. May each family member rest assured that Ed was a smiling, happy, and contented man with a heart full of love for others. That, my friend, I will miss greatly. Love and Prayers, Pastor Ron Payne, Church without Walls Ministry, Hedgesville, WV.
