Edward “Ed” F. Bradley
Edward Franklin “Ed” Bradley, 95, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
Mr. Bradley was born in 1914, in Page County, Virginia, the son of the late Vernie Franklin and Lena Blanch Bradley. He was an orchard worker with D.K. Russell and Sons retiring after thirty years of service.
His wife, Blanch Marie Jenkins Bradley, whom he married in 1938, preceded him in death.
Surviving are three daughters, Mae Virginia DeHaven and husband, Mitchell, of Winchester, Virginia, Verda Marie Larrick of Winchester, Virginia, Shirley Jean Smith of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; son, Larry Douglas Bradley and wife, Lynda, of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; nineteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; his sister, Jean Good of Shenandoah, Virginia; and two brothers, Amos Bradley of Luray, Virginia and Leroy Bradley of Front Royal, Virginia.
Three daughters, Phyllis Ann Russell, Charlotte Bradley and Marie Bradley and two sons, Winfred Franklin Bradley and Edward Calvin Bradley, and one sister, Iva Rossor, preceded him in death.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, at Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia, with Reverend Ron Payne officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mike Whitacre, Ricky DeHaven, James Russell, Larry Bradley, Winfred Bradley and David Bradley.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
