It was always nice to walk out of the school building and see Mr. and Mrs. Hillyard setting up their chairs on the hill promptly at 2:45 before a Husky football game. I'd like to think the rope that tied those chairs together now represents a bond between family that can never be broken. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Hartwell Harrison left a message on January 11, 2020:
I extend my heartfelt prayers to the Hilliard family. I worked with Ed at the Coke plant in the summers from 1968–1971. I have fond memories of him as a route salesman at the time. He was a live wire for sure and hard to keep pace with. God bless him.
