Miss Edna meant so much to our family. She was a best friend to my grandmother Beulah Hott while they were neighbors on Purcell Avenue. I will forever remember Grandma and Miss Edna having a chat at the fence. I will forever cherish our friendship and the memories on Purcell Avenue. Prayers to Libby, Steve, Melanie, Ben, Cindy, Sam, Paula and Abby.

I’m so sorry to hear about Edna’s passing. I have so many fond memories of Edna & Pleasant Valley! She was a beautiful person. This write-up was so special! I have this memory of Edna taking Timmy out of the service because he was laughing so hard at my mother!!! I am thinking of Libby & Steve and all the family! Love, Marsha

I only had a chance to meet her a couple of times but loved the twinkle in her eye, the kindness and curiosity with which she greeted you and her lively intelligence. I knew her as a fellow book reader and her perceptions as a reader were always right on and delightful to share with her. I know how she was beloved by her daughter Libby, they knew each other’s hearts. May all the family know ease and comfort at this time of grief and loss.
Brian and Robin Dick left a message on February 11, 2022:
Edna was one of the most kind and sincere people we have ever known. Her laugh was unmistakable and she loved to smile and have a conversation. Clyde and Edna were so valuable to PVUMC and were involved in our most vivid memories of our church family. We pray for the sorrow of the family's loss but celebrate the life of one of God's most precious lambs.
