Our sympathies go out to the family. Having Ed and Helen as neighbors for so many years was a blessing. Ed helped us, and everyone, so often and in so many ways. His kindness and gentle humor will certainly be missed. The world is a better place because of him. Godspeed Ed.
Gerald Bates left a message on January 14, 2017:
I first met Edgar at hunting camp some 15+ years ago. We hit it off right away and he took me under his wing. He would show me where to go and even with bad knees would walk up and down the mountain trying to push something my way. Sometimes we would just walk and have long conversations about anything and everything, and depending on the temperature we would finish it off with a cold yoohoo or a fresh pot of coffee. I will always cherish the times we've had and miss him dearly.
