Earle Lee “Bill” McKeever, 94, of Bartlett Tennessee, formerly of Winchester, Virginia, died Monday, June 22, 2015, in The Kings Daughters and Sons Home in Bartlett, Tennessee.
Mr. McKeever was born in 1920, in Frederick County, Virginia, the son of John R. and Minnie V. McKeever. He was a retired Manager and Bookkeeper for Wrights Esso and later worked as a repair and reproduction worker with an antiques dealer and also for himself. Mr. McKeever was a member of Gainesboro Methodist Church.
He married Frances Virginia Ruble on July 26, 1940, in Gainesboro, Virginia. She preceded him in death on November 10, 2009.
Surviving is his daughter, Carolyn Dunmyer and her husband, Bob, of Lakeland, Tennessee; grandchildren Stacey Levin (Russ), David Dunmyer (Rhonda), Alicia Kulp (John) and Monica Erps (David); ten great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers Ellis Bayliss, Raymond Bayliss, Roy Bayliss, Carl Bayliss, Harry McKeever and William McKeever and his sister, Osa Clowser.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Saundra Nottingham officiating. Interment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
