Tom was instrumental in my having my anesthesia career and life here in Winchester after he visited me in Charlottesville in 1977. After seeing his leadership and professionalism, as well as that of his partners, I felt comfortable in coming here. We were more like family, and Edwina was hie equal; together they were a great example of what marriage should be. Tom was always good for a joke or interesting story in the OR, lightening the sometimes somber mood. I remember our first dinner out in Winchester was with Edwina and Tom at the Far East (who else remembers that?) God bless you, Tom; we'll be along eventually.

Tom was my partner in our anesthesia practice here in Winchester for many years. Tom always had an upbeat comment or amusing anecdote for everything. He was an outstanding physician and a good friend. We will miss him.
