What do you say when one of your true friends passes away. Thank you for being my mentor, guidance counselor, team physician and my true friend. I will miss being able to come with questions and advice knowing that you would give me an honest and unselfish answer. You were my true friend with unquestioned gratitude. I will miss you going with me to car shows, truck pulls, monster truck shows and outlaw sprint cars. I thank the lord for letting such a great person enter my life. As you always told me you make your own luck and as luck would have it you were my true friend. So long for now. God speed my friend.

Rest in peace to my grandfather—my Pops, and my birthday twin (October 7th). ❤️ I truly appreciate everyone’s kind words and the stories you’ve shared about him. They mean so much to our family. He was definitely one of a kind. I’ll always cherish the memories of Apple Blossom, riding in his old cars, and those hot summer days spent outside on the farm. Love you, Pops. You’ll be deeply missed, but never forgotten. So long for now...

Dr Bob Kendall-The Community Connector "Dr. Bob"'s obituary explain the incredible human being Dr Kendall was. I wanted to add my personal connection. As a young family at BSUMC, Bob helped us find our way. As a young business entrepreneur, Bob helped me blossom and as a friend, Bob met with me, guided me and introduced me to "everyone" while enjoying events at Rosie's cantina. "Thank you for being a friend Dr Bob" "So long for now (a Bob Kendall's signature good bye!)

Our family is extremely grateful for the dear friend and excellent neurosurgeon we had in Dr. Kendall. In 1972 I was three month’s pregnant with our son Jay. An aneurysm ruptured in my brain. Dr. Kendall was able to repair it. Five years later we were in a car accident. Once again Dr. Kendall came to our rescue. He repaired our 5 year old daughter Vicki’s fractured skull. He was always so compassionate to all of us. We thank God for Dr. Kendall. So glad he decided to stay in Winchester. We send our sympathy and prayers to his family.
