Dr. Arthur Bohse Fulton, 96, passed away peacefully the morning of June 30, 2026, at his son’s home in Greencastle, PA. Born in Greensburg, PA to parents Arthur Byron Fulton and Hulda Ruth (Bohse) Fulton on December 18th, 1929, they moved throughout Western PA for the first decade of his life. He spent his later childhood in North Braddock where he graduated from Scott High School. After this, he received a Bachelor of Arts from Otterbein College. He served under the U.S. Army Counterintelligence Corps from 1951-1954 and graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Juris Doctor) from the University of Pittsburgh in 1957. He then entered into an accomplished 23-year-long career in the FBI.
After retiring, Arthur and Mary moved to Winchester, VA, where they were very active in the local community. Arthur loved Civil War history, working on their property at Apple Pie Ridge, and being an adjunct professor of law at the local community college. Arthur will be remembered for his dedication, quick wit, and his commitment to providing a strong future for his family.
Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and his brother the Rev. Robert Fulton (survived by his wife, Patricia). He is survived by his brother the Rev. Dr. Tate Fulton (Ginger); his son, Arthur Dean (Debbie); his grandchildren, Laura, Amy, and Arthur Nathan (Miriam); his great grandchildren, Sophia, Corbin, and Avery; plus, numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of his family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Camp Allegheny.
Friends and family are invited to Omps Funeral Home South Chapel in Winchester, VA on July 10th at 12:00pm for the viewing. The funeral service will begin at 1:00pm with the burial and luncheon to follow. For more information and to send condolences, please contact Omps Funeral Home.
