Doyle Howard Harrison, 57, of Gore, Virginia died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in Winchester Medical Center.

Doyle was born Feb 19, 1954 in Copperhill, TN, the son of Howard Edward and Bettie Ruth Harrison. He was a truck driver for over 25 years with an exemplary driving record, and he visited each of the lower 48 states. He was a devout Christian, dedicated husband and father, loved and respected by all who knew him. Doyle had a kind and gentle soul. He lived his life helping and supporting those in need and he will be deeply missed.

He married Elizabeth Gail Williams on September 21, 1975 in Sarasota, FL.

Surviving with his parents and wife are three children—Joshua, Rachael and Adam; three brothers—Lowell, Ricky, and Ronnie; two grandchildren and numerous extended family.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA with Reverend Jason Wilbourne officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.

The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
