Barbara Ritter left a message on February 18, 2026:
Dorthy was such a sweet lady. I loved greeting her on Sunday mornings as she came to church. She would share her lunch plans with me, and the food she enjoyed. She will be missed at WINCOG!
Billy Sherrod left a message on February 13, 2026:
My sympathies and sorrows for Miss Dorothy’s passing. But I am delighted that she was a sound Christian lady that (well) knew her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was my very favorite “peep” when picking people up for Sunday morning services. We were normally supposed to wait for our passengers to call US to get a ride. But I would invariably call her to find out if she was coming and what time to pick her up. She was THE copilot in the van. We would preach to each other both going to church and going back home! And when I buckled her seat belt, I’d tell her not to try to kiss me or I’d tell my wife! Of course she’d always come back w/ a sassy answer! Wonderful lady w/ the mindset of a 17 year old! And a memory of an elephant (they never forget)! I loved Miss Dorothy, I love her today and I’ll love her tomorrow. Our loss. Her gain. We’ll miss her but we WILL meet again………
