Dorothy L. Zimmerman, 90, of Staunton passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born on October 3, 1927 in Rockbridge Baths, Virginia, a daughter of the late Jesse Franklin and Susie Ethel (Miller) Little.
Dorothy was a graduate of Brownsburg High School, she retired from American Safety Razor where she was employed on the production line in manufacturing and she enjoyed going to auctions and loved her pets.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Zimmerman was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
Surviving is a son, David A. Zimmerman and his wife Rhonda of Staunton; a grandson, David A. Zimmerman and his wife Veronica of Stephens City; three great-grandchildren, Sterling Zimmerman, Landon Zimmerman and Sophia Zimmerman all of Stephens City; a brother, J.W. Little and his wife Joyce of Jollivue; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
Burial will be private in Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro.
