Dorothy A. “Dot/Dottie” Krob, 82, of Chester Gap, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
Dorothy was born August 26, 1942, in Pennsylvania, daughter of the late William Allen and Myrtie Irene Morgan Lee. She was proceeded in death by one sister Sandra Kay “Sandy” Johnson and her husband William “Bill” Johnson.
Dorothy was a talented artist, making ceramics or paintings on wood, glass bottles, etc. not only to give to her family but to sell in local shops throughout the area. She also taught painting classes at the Warren County Parks and Rec. Center in Front Royal, Virginia.
She loved her family and spending time with them all. She looked forward to the Family Thanksgiving inviting her entire family and many friends every year and the traditional Lee and Morgan family reunion.
Surviving is her husband, John Krob of Chester Gap, VA, son, Joseph “J.D.” Krob and wife Mary Beth, grandson, Jonathan Krob, granddaughter, Maranda Krob of Stafford, VA, daughter, Leslie Krob Williams and husband, Christopher Williams, grandson, Andrew Williams and granddaughter, Heather Williams of Chester Gap, VA, one brother, Floyd A. Lee Sr. (Geraldine) of Front Royal, VA, one sister, Mary Alice Beckner of Martinsburg, WV and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Dorothy on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2pm at Front Royal Moose Lodge, 1340 John Marshall Highway, Front Royal, VA 22630.
