Donna Jeanette (Barker) Walter, 77 of Winchester, VA, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 quietly at her home.

Donna was born in Maryland in 1946, the daughter of the late John and Mabel (LeMaster) Barker. She enjoyed drawing, painting, country music, animals and playing poker with her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Parks (Richard) of Centerville, VA; sons, Dr. John Walter (Elizabeth) of Winchester, VA, Jason Walter of Edinburg, VA, Robert Walter of Edinburg, VA; grandchildren, Matthew Kingree, Morgan Walter, Ricky Parks; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Maison Kingree and brother, Allen Ritenour of Front Royal, VA.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Walter and granddaughter, Heather Walter.

Services for Donna will be private.
