I have spent a lot of time the last two days reflecting on our childhood and the good times we had as kids. I could tell a million stories about the things we did and how we had parents that were strict, but supportive. Donis was a good person and I know all her children were proud of her. (Posted by Debbie Lupton for Max Fox. Max is Donis' brother)

Her loving gentleness and soft voice will always be with me. Although our lives went in different directions early in my life, she brought us all together in her final hours. I now know her to be a remarkable, tenacious survivor with quite a sense of humor. What a lady!!
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

My heart goes out to my whole family at this time. My grandmother was one of a kind. She raised wonderful children including my father and was a big part of my childhood. She gave me amazing memories that will be with me my whole life. I am glad I got to spend time with her in her last days of life. I feel better knowing I told her the things I needed her to hear. R.I.P grandma, I love you always!

Thank you for the privilege of being your son! I am so glad we had many wonderful times together. My own personal reward is seeing you enjoy the natural wonders we shared. I can't help but think of the one memory where we were traveling back from the Grand Canyon aboard the train and desperadoes boarded the train to rob the passengers aboard. Eventually, the sheriff came aboard looking for the desperadoes and he stopped, looked at you and said, "Ma'am, you sure look suspicious to me!" He made your day! Those are the type of memories I will relish. Loving you always, Momma!
