My deepest sympathy for our loss of Don Loomis. He touched so many lives through Boy Scouts. I have many wonderful memories of him in my life as I was part of Troop 1. He was very supportive of my journey to Eagle. He set the example for us all in commitment to those he served and the values I carry on. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Loomis (Don) will be missed. He was a scout leader while I was growing up. He mentored me in so many ways. I worked for him for several yrs while he was running the Cub Scout Swims. It was men like Don who inspired me to continue into scouting as a young adult. And finally being the scoutmaster of my own troop for several yrs. It was his laugh that came to my mind first when I heard of his passing.
