Diane M. Stump, 72, of Winchester, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at her home.
Ms. Stump was born in 1945 in Hanover, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John and Nadine Smith. She graduated from Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown, Pennsylvania. Ms. Stump was an Administrative Assistant with the federal government, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed going to the movies, cooking, playing cards, was an avid reader, and a huge fan of Elvis. Her greatest joy and adoration was Kennedie, her granddaughter and she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving is a daughter, Kellie Chan and her husband, Ming, of Winchester, Virginia; granddaughter, Kennedie Chan of Winchester, Virginia; and brothers, Ronald Smith (Marge) of New Oxford, Pennsylvania and Timothy Smith (Deb) of Littlestown, Pennsylvania; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel with Reverend Reed Brown officiating.
