Delphia Harman Cornwell

        Delphia Belle Harman Cornwell, 91, of Winchester, Virginia, died Saturday, August 3, 2013, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Cornwell was born in 1921, in Clearbrook, Virginia, the daughter of the late Newton W. and Carrie E. Harman. She was a homemaker, and for a period time she worked for the Wishing Well Gift Shop.  She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Winchester.  Delphia was a great mother and will be missed by all of her family.

Surviving is her daughter, Carolyn Elizabeth Parker and husband, Dennis of Winchester, Virginia; grandchildren, Angela Goodwin and husband, Shawn of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Brandy Godwin and husband, Kyle of Berryville, Virginia; three great grandchildren and brother, Donald Harman and wife, Ruby of Winchester, Virginia.

Four sisters, Evelyn H. Harrison, Gladys Taylor, Hilda Brown, Retha Combs and six brothers, Neville, Jim, Melvin, Grantham, Norman and Preston Harmon, preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 7 at Mount Hebron Cemetery, with Pastor John Morrison officiating.
