Deborah Denise Bishop Campisi, 57 of Winchester, VA passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at her home.
Debbi was born in 1965 in Winchester, VA to Gregory Bishop and Mildred Oneada (Meade) Jenkins. She was a graduate of Strasburg High School, Class of 1983 and received her Associate’s Degree from Lord Fairfax Community College. Debbi then went on to receive her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Human Resources from Western Governor’s University. She started out as a printer and worked her way up to working in human resources at Perry Judd’s. Debbi retired from human resources at Valley Health, Winchester, VA. She attended Walnut Springs Christian Church and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Strasburg, VA. Debbi was a Dallas Cowboys fan who enjoyed camping with her family and friends and being part of the motorcycle group, “The Rusty Crickets”. She loved and adored her grandkids and her canine companions, Jack and Max.
She married Nicholas Charles Campisi on October 12, 2001 in Winchester, VA.
Debbi is survived by her parents, husband Nicholas; step father, William Jenkins; daughters, Rachael Hines (Jason) of Winder, GA, Kristen Peterson (Ian) of Virginia Beach, VA; son, Wesley Mumaw (Mindy) of Strasburg, VA; grandchildren, Georgia Panopoulos of York, PA, Christina Panopoulos of York, PA, Benjamin Mumaw of Woodstock, VA, Hristos Panopoulos of York, PA, Lily Snell of Virginia Beach, VA, Eli Hines of Winder, GA, Adeline Peterson of Virginia Beach, VA, Olivia Hines of Winder, GA and Sydney Peterson of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters, Donna Jenkins of Strasburg, VA, Stacie Amari (Tommy) of Winchester, VA and bother, Billy Jenkins (Jenae) of Toms Brook, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Debbi is preceded in death by her brothers, Dion and Davey Bishop.
