Debbie Wolford passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at her home.
Debbie was born on July 12, 1959 and was raised by her grandparents, Ernest and Annie Fincham. She was a longtime employee of Tom’s Market on Back Mountain Road and longtime resident of Shawneeland. Debbie loved her job and the customers became friends and family over the years.
She is survived by her longtime friend and companion, Mike McBride; longtime friend and ex-husband, Mike Wolford; daughters, Jaime Jordan (David), Jill Reynolds, and Mary Wolford (Jay Massie); grandchildren, Trenton and Kendyl Jordan, Jared, Jacob and Miley Baker, Raymond and Reagan Massie.
Instead of a sad funeral it is Debbie’s wish to have a Celebration of Life at North Mountain Fire Hall on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm.
Please bring memories to share. Her pepperoni rolls and smile will be truly missed.

Debbie will be so missed by everyone who was considered a friend, which is basically everyone. Her smile lit up any room. She was always so caring. Even if I had a bad day, she always had something to say that raised my spirits. Heaven gained one special lady.

We were so deeply saddened to hear of Debbie's passing. She was such a large part of the family at Toms Market. Her smile always brightened the atmosphere and made a visit to "Toms" always a joy. She never met a stranger! May she rest in peace now that her jouney is over. Much expression of love and sadness to those she loved and all those she has left behind. Always- David and Patsy Simpson

My deepest sympathy to Mike and Debbie’s family & friends. Like many, how I enjoyed our early morning chats at Tom’s Market when getting my morning brew! Debbie had such a sweet, positive spirit and her attitude and smile was contagious. She just made it so easy to start the day feeling good because of her warmth, kindness and sparkling personality. How we will miss her- but God needed another of His sweet Angels home. Until we meet again sweet Debbie, know you remain in our hearts. ?

Debbie was loved by so many. She had no idea how many people came into Tom's Market just to talk to her. She will be missed by everyone on the mountain. Our condolences to Mike and Debbie's family and friends.

I will never forget our friendship we had made. This was a hard one to swallow once I heard. May you rest easy, you are no longer in pain. Debbie was one of the most genuine and beautiful person I have had the pleasure of knowing. I will truly miss her laughter and kind words. Toms Market will never be the same. She always greeted me with a big smile. I am so grateful for getting to know her even for such a short period of time. Jesus please wrap your loving arms around her and welcome her home. ?❤

I'll miss a super friendly welcome a smile and my coupon lady loved she tried never letting things go to waste. Pictures kids give her for deli case.

I’ll miss everything about you, your laugh, smile, hugs , and especially the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches love and and will forever be in my heart.

It’s been decades and I was so saddened by this. Debbie was friends with my mother for a number of years and always had a way of making things special. From her thoughtful Christmas and birthday gifts to the perfect lunches she packed (I stayed with her for about a week when I was in middle and looked forward to lunch everyday). She was so happy for me as higher education moved me further and further away from my home town. Eventually we lost touch but I never forgot her. My deepest sympathies to her loved ones.

I met Debbie 26 yrs ago, wonderful lady to cut up with at 6am in the morning on my way to work at the hospital. Our oldest daughter Holli,always ran to the kitchen,Debbie would give her pickles.
