David Robert “Bobby” Washington, age 78, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 10, 2026.

Bobby was born in Front Royal, Virginia, on November 28, 1947, to the late Massie Thornton Washington, Sr., and the late Hazel Marie (Roberts) Washington. He went on to retire from Food Lion as a stock worker. Bobby was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. Bobby was a lover of dogs, and is survived by his canine companion.

He is survived by his two sisters, Michelle Page and Hestel Corsivo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Ann Dorsey and Helen Louise Washington; and two brothers, Massie Thornton Washington, Jr. and John Edward Washington.
