David Lemley, Sr., 86, of Frederick County, Virginia passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Lemley was born in 1931 in Stephens City, Virginia, the son of the late Herbert M. and Evelyn L. Lemley. He was a truck driver for Emmert Oil Company, retiring after more than 20 years of service. Mr. Lemley was a member of Winchester Eagles #824 and Winchester Moose Lodge 1283.
Surviving is a daughter, Anna M. Unger and husband, Larry of Clear Brook, Virginia; sons, David L. Lemley, Jr. and wife, Karen of Clear Brook, Virginia and Christopher M. Lemley of Stephenson, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Jonathan Lemley, Kenneth Unger, Jeremiah Staubs, Justin Orndoff, David Lemley, and Marcus Lemley; and six great grandchildren.
Mr. Lemley was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ruth Lemley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum, Winchester, Virginia.
Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Unger, Jonathan Lemley, Kenneth Unger, Justin Orndoff, David Lemley, and Marcus Lemley.
