Leslie Miller Niebruegge left a message on December 13, 2021:
On Friday, November 26, 2021 heaven welcomed my brother, Dave "Dufus" Miller. He wasn't just my brother, he was one of the most loving, caring, funny, goofy, forgiving and downright wonderful person I've ever known. I've been blessed to not only call him my brother but also my dearest, best and one true friend. Till we meet again, enjoy the peace you've always deserved and is now yours. I Praise God for the time we had together and look foreword to His promise of our joyous reunion. Love ya!

Such sad news, a great person and a wonderful shipmate. I was stationed with Dave in Yokosuka Japan in 1978-79. We played on the hospital softball team those two years, me in center and Dave in left. Daves nickname was Thunder bunny, not fast afoot but graceful and a talented player. More than that he was just a good guy. Rest in peace shipmate.

My condolences. I knew David during our time in the Navy. Great guy. May his perpetual light continue to shine upon and around him. My prayers are with his family.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
Daniel Francuz left a message on December 2, 2021:
Dave Miller represented the very best of the United States Military. More than one Navy Command singled Dave out to carefully and thoroughly train prospective candidates for the strongest possible professional standards. Dave's expansive knowledge and detailed instruction empowered me and many others to achieve success. Dave dared himself to see the good in others and brazenly set the needs of others before himself. He is one class act.

My heart felt condolences to the family. Dave was a good man. We learned a lot from one another. He would cheer you up with a simple magic trick or do something silly to make you laugh. He was a good friend and a great man. I will miss him
