It was my treasure to have known brother Dave, so many things I learned from you. The many deer hunting / trout fishing trips we took, along with many Sunday dinners with the family. You were a true blessing in my life
Beckie (Brooks) Reynard left a message on April 20, 2019:
My parents and I attended First United Methodist Church and had the pleasure growing up around Dave. My dad was a member of the Conservation Club and would often take me there to fish. I remember seeing Dave there and I would be so proud to show him the fish I was able to catch (which were small but seemed so big at the time to me). When I was 16, I purchased my first car from Dave when he worked at the Chrysler/Plymouth dealership on Valley Avenue. I was so excited and I think Dave was just as excited to be the one selling me my first car. And the auctions...I think my dad took me to auctions every weekend when I was little. Dave would always encourage dad to buy things, including the 1.00 boxes that nobody wanted...and dad would usually buy them : ) When my dad passed away a couple years ago, Dave was there for my family. He had a kind heart and gentle soul. He'll be forever missed.
Winfred Elliott left a message on April 20, 2019:
I remember Dave always as a friend of mine and my family. When Dave and I wasn't working my family favorite thing to do was to go an auction but my daughter had her pick of course you know how kids are. She loved watching Dave auction things off. If she couldn't be in found she made it surely every single thing was gone even if she didn't know what it was. It got to be a laugh when she got married she found out that Dave knew her husband. He told him the story of how much she liked auctions. And what is so lovely the 15 year's they were blessed with 2daughters they were spent at Dave's auction . You see Dave is also going to be with this man that left behind a family a very good friend because he was in pain let neither stuff no more
Richard Sankovich left a message on April 20, 2019:
Dave will be missed by myself and a lot of others. He was my mentor and friend sponsoring my membership into the Winchester Frederick Co. Conservation Club over 25 years ago. He was witty, yet charming and could strike up an interesting conversation with anyone. His straw hat was always close and came with a firm handshake and a how do you do! We all are better after having known and worked with Dave and thank him for his service to the Club. Rich Sankovich - Secretary - Winchester Frederick Co. Conservation Club
